It is America’s birthday, and there is no reason not to go out and celebrate midweek. Here are a few of the spectacular 4th of July events in NYC that you must not miss out on.
1.Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks
You simply must visit the pyrotechnic display at Macy’s where they set off a fireworks display with more than sixty thousand of fireworks. The firework display is arranged in such a manner that it takes up the form of a thirty-minute long patriotic event. When you visit the area, make sure you find the spot with a clear view of the fireworks.

Go to Staten Island where the spectators cheer for the marching bands and colourful floats. Travis village has a deep history dating back to the colonial days which even exceed the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The parade has been going on there since 1911, making it the oldest parades in the Fourth of July Parades that take place in the United States of America. Take a ferry there to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.
5.Brooklyn Grange fireworks for Fourth of July
