The bloom of Tulips bring in the fluorescent sunlight with gleam and shine. They smile in a myriad of colors nodding their heads in the flow of the wind, as a sign of warmth and beauty here to brighten the embarking of a new, fresh summer. As the warm summer sun begins to spread its illuminating rays on earth, these shaded flowers acquire their magnificent appearance in a pretty shape and fascinating colors. The play with colors and the innovative thought behind these themes are really worth a gaze. On the other hand, this becomes one of the reasons to revisit the gorgeous garden every year to explore a new theme and its uniqueness. The park also hosts an annual Flower Parade which is an extensive display of colorful flowers and their scent spread in the air. At the parade there are 20 enormous floats and 30 cars, elaborately decked in flowers, that drive along a 42 kilometer stretch, from Noordwijk to Haarlem. This fascinating parade passes Keukenhof somewhere between 3 pm to 4 pm on the date of the parade. There's a hell lot of talent and hard work put in the festival and the laudable parade. The flower festival at the park is also undoubtedly enjoyable for kids. There’s a playground for them to play while they also have games like treasure hunt, maze, petting farm and more.
Keukenhof also hosts a traditional costume show along with an array of events during the Easter weekend.
You could also enjoy the Holland Heritage Romance at Keukenhof in the city on 7th and 8th May. For more details visit the official site here.
