Florida has been, for quite some time now, the favourite destination for people who want to escape the snow, and enjoy a warm winter! It is also a perfect place for all the people looking for a quick weekend getaway. Popular amongst children for its Walt Disney World Resort and the many theme parks, youngsters seek out the bright day beaches and groovy nightlife. But if you ask me what my idea of an ideal holiday is, it has to be a quiet place, some fresh air, with my family, and the fuzzy company of my dogs. While cuddling on the sofa and enjoying hot chocolate does sound enticing, nothing can tempt me away from the beach, and same holds true for my furballs!

Why try and catch snowflakes, only to have them melt away,

When you can collect seashells, and smile at them on any other cold day…

Here’s a list of our picks of the best dog friendly beaches in Florida. Go through the details and plan a weekend of fun, splash and woof!
