Most girls who understand romance in our country understand it because of him. Most guys one day dream of wooing their dream lady the way he has wooed every leading lady on screen. Behind that dimpled smile and unmatchable wit, we have a travel enthusiast who tweets about his expeditions almost on a daily basis. Although, most of Shah Rukh Khan`s travel quests are for perfect locations to shoot! And more often than not, he is quite successful in making that location a hit amongst his followers. Here is a list of some amazing locations that King Khan has made famous amongst his fans by either romancing an actress, performing an intense scene or sometimes just with his mere presence:

1) Kal Ho Naa Ho

In 2003, every second person had one song on their lips all the time. While we hummed the tune of Kal ho naa ho constantly, Brooklyn Bridge made it to the list of travel destinations for many fans. Connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan, travelling on this bridge gives you the perfect chance to look over the East river. Karan Johar also found this to be the apt location to establish Dev and Maya`s story in Kabhi Alvidaa Naa Kehna. Dressed in red, they stood out amongst the rest of the crowd at the end of the famous love song-Tumhi Dekho Naa!

2) Jab Tak Hai Jaan

The combination of Yash Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan is enough for a true Bollywood fan to love Jab Tak Hai Jaan. What acts as a cherry on top of the cake is the beautiful cinematography of this movie in Leh and Ladakh. Pangong Lake is situated at a height of around 1400 meters from the sea level. Easily the prettiest location in the movie, it is just a part of the long list of breath-taking views of Leh that are captured in the movie. Anushka Sharma might have fallen in love with Samar Anand at this point, but we definitely fell in love with this truly mind-blowing location.

3) Pardes

Every teenage heartbreak in India in the late 1990s was accompanied by the viewing and listening of Yeh Dil Deewana from Pardes. With Ganga and Arjun in different locations at Las Vegas, this song is like a virtual tour of the city by itself. Remember the famous Bungee jumping scene? Also, the quick glimpse through all the famous clubs of Las Vegas also made it a big hit amongst the masses back in 1997.

4) Chennai Express

Dudhsagar waterfalls, even though not widely known are one of the most scenic falls in our country. They start in Karnataka and fall straight in Goa. Somewhere in the middle of that border, you will always find a hoard of tourists enjoying taking a natural shower under these water- falls. While you are mind-blown with the pristine white water, you have a chance to look at the railway crossing on top. Incidentally, that is where Shah Rukh Khan first met with Deepika Padukone`s Father in Chennai Express.

5) Don-2

Everybody knows about Farhan Akhtar`s love for Malaysia with his famous franchise- Don. Although, the climax scene of Don-2 was also shot in Malaysia, but the establishment of the story and introduction of the characters is done in Berlin, Germany. Right from Kunal Kapoor`s entry to the bank- robbery planning to the famous 300 feet jump from Olympia Stadium in Berlin, Don-2 has looked that classy and sleek, thanks to Berlin!

6) Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Kajol suffered an injury here while shooting for Suraj hua maddham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. That did not stop the Pyramids of Giza becoming the ideal location for the extremely famous SRK- Kajol romance! Built over history and surrounded by amazing views, Pyramids of Giza managed to steal our hearts even though Shah Rukh was right there romancing Kajol in those eye-catching see through shirts.

7) Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Everybody knows Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge is shot throughout Switzerland . But not many know about St Mauritius Church, where Kajol and Shahrukh Khan pray together. The church was originally built in the 13th century and expanded in the 15th century. A significant part of this famous love story is shot in the beautiful villages of Gstaad-Saanenland region in Switzerland.

8) Happy New Year

Happy New Year was literally like a travel brochure of Dubai. With most of the part shot in Atlantis the Palm- the hotel has become an even more sought after tourist attraction ever since Happy New Year was shot here. In various scenes of the movie, they have also covered Dubai as a city. The movie completely justifies as to why Dubai is such a desired travel destination.

As a Shah Rukh Khan fan, all of these destinations are on my travel bucket list. Even though it is a very difficult question to ask considering taking eyes off SRK seems next to impossible; but are there any other locations that you might have liked as much as Yash Chopra liked Switzerland or Karan Johar liked London? If you did, do let us know by commenting below.

Speaking of her acquired talents, talking incessantly to anyone willing to lend an ear is her greatest. But if you happen to temporarily feel the need to shut her up,handing her a gripping novel will go a long way.
