The United Kingdom is known for its royal manners and having rather prim and proper ways. But, every time the country decides to let go a little and introduce something whacky, they really manage to surprise us.
Take the recent opening of the first roller coaster restaurant in Alton Towers theme park- it is such an amazing example of being unconventional and super cool. The Alton Towers Theme Park is already pretty famous for having some awesome roller coaster rides. But, they have taken it a step forward by offering people a culinary experience of a completely different kind.
The food here comes whooshing down just like on a roller coaster. If you are scared that it will splash right on your faces, then no- the food items are sealed with utmost perfection and metal covering that does not allow it to break open even when it slides in a high speed.
Make sure you do not miss anything else in The United Kingdom with this perfect trip planner!
The Alton Water Theme Park came up with this idea last year and promised to open it in a May this year. So here they are, ready with rides for your food before the month ends. The loopy system is completely amusing and supports a fall down of about 8 metres to any food container before it lands on any of the intended 13 tables.
Gil Riley from Alton Towers theme park went further on to add that, "The intricate network of loops and spiralling tracks is an incredible spectacle and we feel that the new restaurant is an attraction in itself.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming guests in 2016 and we believe that the new restaurant will be a top attraction for both theme park guests and those staying with us as part of a short break.”
Imagine enjoying a roller coaster ride and thinking, "everybody I meet should enjoy it", in this case it will probably change your thought to "everything I eat, should enjoy it!"
