Madikeri Homestays for Families – of Coffee, Countryside's and Sylvan Bungalows

Madikeri is a Lilliputian town that snuggles in the laps of the Western Ghats. I visited Madikeri for my birthday this year, and let me tell you, I fell in love with this place. It’s a sort of a place that will keep pulling you back. The curvy roads that run through the mountains, the many rich shades of greens, the misty valleys and the aroma of fresh coffee in the air sometimes feels too good to be true. It drizzles every now and then, which only adds to the magic of this place. As you make your way around the town, you will see blankets of freshly harvested coffee seeds laid out to dry naturally under the sun giving this town its rustic charm.

Many of the estate owners have now converted their age-old colonial homes into homestays. Madikeri homestay for family options are many and you will be spoilt for choices when choosing the right one for you. Over the years, the concept of homestay, or synonymously called Airbnb’s, have been on a rise, and why not! Imagine staying at a private coffee estate that surmounts the hills, while gorging on some Coorgi delicacies and downing a hot steaming cuppa. All this sounds like quite a terrific holiday!

Planning your holiday already? Check out some of the best homestays in Madikeri for families that will treat you to all-out southern hospitality!
