Right from the scenic roads that take you to Goa (NH 17, Amboli Ghat and Chorla Ghat) to the epic train journey that allows you to enjoy a close view of the gigantic Dudhsagar waterfalls, Goa’s array of activities and attractions make it a wholesome package for a vacation.

And as if the state’s eclectic nightlife, beautiful beaches and great vibe was not enough, here’s another reason to plan a trip to Goa, like right now!

A Mumbai to Goa Cruise service that begins operation 3rd October onwards!

How epic is that?

After several anticipated timelines from the Union Minister, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the cruise service is set to commence operations come 3rd of October. The expected cost of a ticket would approximately be INR 7000 (onwards) and the total voyage will span through 16 hours. Currently, it is scheduled to depart from Mumbai every alternate day.

Mapping a picturesque route this is a nonstop cruise, for now. However, soon jetties at some of Konkan’s serene coastal regions including Malvan, Dabhol and the oh-so-pristine Dighi will be set up.

What does the ticket cover?

The ticket is evaluated to be in the range of INR 7,000 to INR 12,000 per person. Three meals and accommodation are what the ticket will cover.

Tourists can now enjoy an excellent sea escapade and it might also result into lesser traffic on the Mumbai-Goa highway, which is super-crowded, especially during the holiday season.

The cruise, named Angriya, is going to a be luxury liner, with air-conditioned interiors and a seating capacity of 200 to 300 travelers. From 24-hour coffee shops, a variety of restaurants and bars, an infinity pool, facilities for business conferences and even a spa, are some of the on-board amenities. These, however, may be subject to a surcharge.

Apart from enjoying the scenic beauty of the Konkan coastline, the company will provide the guests with two meals and a brunch (yes, it is included in the fare). Oh, and you can take a dive into the swimming pool on an open deck.

This is not the first cruise ship operating between Mumbai and Goa. One operating between 1994 to 2004 was the last vessel running between the two points!

This New Year’s eve and in 2019 that is all about the long weekends, grab a seat on this cruise between Mumbai to Goa and enjoy the journey over the waters!
