The best part is that they serve beer, which can be enjoyed with your breakfast too! The colorful ambiance and cheery furnishings further help in making your dining experience a pleasant one indeed. The rates are more than reasonable and it doesn’t take a genius to figure that The Honky Tonk will become the favourite haunt of cupid-struck couples and college pals.

For authentic Asian cuisine lovers like me, it never can get Too Asian actually! Jokes apart, this Asian restaurant is one of those few outlets that serve brilliant Japanese and Korean food at very affordable rates. Seating is limited, and many people prefer take-outs but the lip-smacking taste more than makes up for this small inconvenience. They also deliver, if you want to enjoy a bowl of steaming noodle soup on a rainy night with your favorite series streaming on the laptop! Check out

4. Upstairs - Tardeo
A welcome addition to Mumbai’s already hip and happening is the Upstairs Lounge cum Bistro. The establishment can proudly boast of serving great food while pumping out good music in an excellent ambiance. There is space for dancing, has a bar and serves Asian style dishes and finger food. The best part about Upstairs is that it is one of those places that doesn’t compromise on their food quality just because they keep a bar and dance floor. I have heard exceptional reviews of their jumbo-big Long Island Iced Tea, so probably pick it as your poison for the evening.

North India’s favourite non-vegetarian delight arrived in Mumbai many years ago but still one can hear many Punjabis and Delhites whining and complaining of not getting that authentic ‘Butter-Chicken taste’. The Butter Chicken Factory aims at dealing with all these issues and set the record straight. The décor is simple, tables are limited but the food is DELICIOUS! None of the dishes fail at impressing diners, and the moderate prices make the taste extra good. The only drawback is that you have to wait for some time as the restaurant is usually full.

Rainforest opened its branch in Lower Parel and people are absolutely loving it! The Resto-Bar has the same theme with its rainforest branches, waterfalls and dim lightings. The drinks and cocktails have the same quality and taste that people have come to associate the Rainfall chains with. The most awesome part about the resto-bar is that their munchies and other food items are as sumptuous as one expects in any fine restaurant. No cuts have been allowed in that department and it is absolutely heartening to see this.
