5. Chandigarh is a human body

French architect Le Corbusier designed the city in the shape of a human body, with the ‘Head’ being Capitol Complex in Sector 1, the ‘Heart' being City Centre in Sector-17, the 'Lungs' are the leisure valley, as well as, the open space and greenery in the city, the ‘Circulatory System’ being the 7V’s road network, and ‘Brain’ is the Cultural and Educational Institutions.

8. When civilians kicked the Portugese out

Dadra and Nagar Haveli got independance from the Portugese without the help of any national armed forces. It was a group of civilians and nationalist organisations that took control back of their territory, after attacking a police station in Dadra and making them surrender.

9. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are worth Rs. 20
