Planning a beach vacation with your girlies? What better than Goa to work on that peachy tan and soak in some sun?

If you’re wondering what to pack for your vacation to Goa, you have come to the right place. It can be daunting to decide what to take if like me, you have a hundred options to choose from. Will that gorgeous black dress look out of place in Goa? And will those blood red pumps make odd bedfellows with the beach? These are questions that you must ask yourself if you want to avoid being the outlandish alien while your friends make dinner conversations out of your fashion faux pas.

Here are our recommendations for what to wear on your holiday to Goa :

The key to beach wear is ‘easy breezy’. If you want to look ravishing against the blue waters and the sun kissed sands, take it easy. Don’t try too hard.

Designer: Rajdeep Ranawat.

Why We Love It: Structured jackets with boxing shorts look incredibly hot. Short Kaftans are the way to go for this season

Ideal for: Daywear by the pool or for an afternoon of lounging around

Make Up Tip: Go for pastel colors on the eyes and the lips with just a hint of tinted foundation.

Designer: Shivan & Narresh

Why We Love It: Wear flowy fabrics for that breezy look. Experiment with colors and go edgy with your swimsuit.

Ideal for: A day or evening at the beach or chilling at a shack. Style the swimsuit with a beautiful sarong.

Make up Tip: Go nude with a light bronzish base and you can experiment with a summery color like bright orange and pink on the lips.

Designer: Shivan & Narresh

Why We Love It: Black and Grey swimsuits look good only on your grandma. Go with geometric prints, floral designs and splashes of colors if you want to shine in Goa.

Ideal for: At the pool or in the ocean. Style these swimsuits with a translucent shirt jacket.

Make Up Tip: Nude lip color, waterproof mascara, light green or blue eye-shadow

Designer: Wendel Rodricks

Why We Love It: Sheer tunics are incredibly romantic. Pastel colors are evergreen.

Ideal for: A brunch or early supper at a shack or restaurant. Team with colorful flip flops.

Make up Tip: Bronzer on the face, baby pink lips and French manicured nails.

Designer: Anita Dongre

Why We Love It: You can never go wrong with white on a beach. If your dress is completely white, team it with bright colored jackets or accessories

Ideal For: Day at the resort. Team with chunky bangles and a high ponytail. Wear wedges.

Make Up Tip: Light Brown eye shadow, kaajal and coffee shade lips.

Accessories add spunk to clothes. They have the power to change the look completely and take you from mundane to marvelous.

Following are our suggestions for accessorizing your clothes.

No trip to Goa will be complete without a funky pair of sunglasses. Go bold with your sunglasses and transform into an instant diva.

Featured here are sandals from Jimmy Choo, Rahul Arora and Red Janota. These will add those grateful inches and are great to wear on dresses and swim suits.

These pieces from Nitya Arora will glamorize even the most simple outfit. Don't go overboard though ; if you're opting for chunky earrings, stay away from bold necklaces.

We love these earrings from Outhouse. They're very gladiator-esque and transform you into an instant goddess!
