The central city of Boston is relatively smaller, so most of the accommodations are that convenient for sightseeing lie within the same area. The best part about Boston is that, all the major attractions lie in the city centre making it more convenient for anyone to pick a hotel in Boston. For shop-n-splurge kind of travellers, Financial District & Downtown Crossing is the best area to stay in Boston. Since this area is also preferred by business travellers, the weeknight prices are higher in this area than the weekends.

While Beacon Hill/North Station are good areas to access the public transport, the hotels here are slightly pricier than the others. Although, you can book a bread & breakfast and enjoy easy access to the plethora of things to do in Boston.
