Capri is known for its luxury. So, it is difficult to find budget places to stay during your visit.

Budget

Mid-range

• Hotel Nautilus: A place with tidy rooms, pretty gardens and amazing terrace.
• Hotel Bristol: About 10 minutes from Marina Grande. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff.

Luxury

• Hotel Excelsior Parco: Huge rooms with excellent furnishing. Delicious food and great staff. Private car service is also available.
• JK Place Capri: A hotel that pampers you with luxurious modern rooms, amazing food and top-class staff.
• Grand Hotel Quisisana: A feel at home hotel with great rooms and hospitable staff. The breakfast in the balcony is once in a lifetime experience.
• Capri Tiberio Palace: Spacious apartments with a huge balcony and a minibar. Do have their delicious local snacks.

PLACES TO EAT

The gastronomy of Capri predominantly consists of seafood, especially Anchovies and Squids. Wild Quails cooked with Bacon, fresh peas and white wine is another local delicacy. Capri is also famous for its signature limoncello liqueur.

Most of the restaurants in Capri are quite expensive. If you are travelling on a budget, it is better to buy raw food in local shops and cook for yourself.

• R. Buonocore: Are you an Ice-cream lover? Walk into this place for some delicious ice cream scooped in freshly made hot cones.
• Buca di Bacco: A restaurant offering sumptuous pasta made with seafood. It is moderately priced and the tables must be booked in advance.
• La Palette: In a spectacular setting, the hotel serves you with their excellent food. Try their Calamari and ravioli alla caprese.
• Capri Pasta: Incredible Italian food and sandwiches. Great staff, too. Mix and match the dishes on menu as per your taste.
• Buonocore Gelateria: A bakery offering delicious homemade pasta, Gelato, pastries and other desserts.
