Mercure Grand Hotel

This is another 4 star hotel situated near the Westfalenhallen and the football stadium. It is located about 20 minutes walk away from the city centre in the South of the city. It is comfortable and is well-appointed. The price is also reasonable.

Mercure Hotel Dortmund

This is a budget yet a designer hotel. A 3 star hotel, it is not as grand but  located in the city centre just less than 5 minutes away from the main station and a few minutes from the main shopping street. The rooms are comfortable and the service quite efficient.

Hövels Hausbrauerei

This is a very popular bar and a part of the local Hovels brewery. For lovers of everything local and authentic, this is the place to go to. Locally brewed beer is plenty and excellent food is also served.

Kartoffel Lord

This place is renowned for its tasty food which includes mouth-watering soy burgers, wraps with soy meat and filled potatoes. They offer many vegan options. The sign at the door says vegetarian cuisine but it is not all they serve.
