• Clarion Collection Hotel Hammer: This centrally-located hotel gives each guest the utmost attention. Breakfast and evening buffet are included. Their waffles come highly recommended.

Luxury

• Radisson Blu Lillehammer Hotel: This hotel located in a quiet location has clean, cosy rooms and a helpful staff that will make your stay as comfortable as possible.
• Scandic Victoria Lillehammer: Conveniently located near the centre of the town, with clean and spacious rooms with a great view. 

PLACES TO EAT

• Hvelvet: The restaurant has been built inside what used to be a bank with its heavy treasury doors intact. An interesting dining experience. Their venison is to be tried.
• Bryggerikjelleren: A nicely designed restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and absolutely exceptional food. A little pricey but it’s definitely worth every penny. Reservations are recommended.
• Nikkers Restaurant: A restaurant with a very informal setting, an open fire and scrumptious food. The fish soup is recommended.
• Egon Restaurant: The place to be if you’re craving some authentic Norwegian food. The atmosphere is great and the food is rather reasonable.
• Lundegarden: The place to go if you’re in the mood to try Indian food. Try their harayali naan and butter chicken. It is indeed finger licking good.
• Dudeburger.no: If you’re a burger lover, this place is a must-visit. Try their pulled pork burger parma pizza and blueberry milkshake. They even have a dessert pizza on the menu!
• Cafe Stift: A nice, exhaustive menu, scrumptious food that comes in large portions, great beer and a friendly staff. What else can you ask for?
