All Broadway theatres have abysmal seating: small seats, no legroom. The acoustics vary and the St. James is adequate. The ushers are experienced and competent. The main ladies room has sufficient number of stalls.
I saw Something Rotten here with my parents and my brother 6-20-16. The show was hilarious and had me in stitches. Bathrooms weren't too crowded, gift shop and concession stand were hard to get through. We had seats towards the back of the orchestra so we had a slightly blocked view of the stage.
We saw Something's Rotten, wonderful show. Theatre was very nice and the seats were comfortable!
Good place to watch a show. The seats make things a tad tight though however I know we were all smaller when it was built.
Gorgeous theater, great acoustics, friendly staff. Bathrooms and availability on my level left something to be desired.
