The best place in Carlsbad for a peaceful walk. Very pretty, safe and "the lake" is always a lovely sight in the desert. Great playgrounds for little kids.
A park in a small town, swimming area, play areas, water park, by the docks area the beach area good spot to feed the fish, ducks, seasgulls. Nice walk by the river take in the sites. Many nice things to look at.
I grew up swimming at the beach and I still love to go and picnic and swim there. Lots of shade trees, green grass and paddle boats. Great for kids and Adults. I love the water park there as well.
One of my favorite places in Carlsbad to go. Whether it's to jog, fish, or take my Daughter to the park, I always have fun.
A great spot to hang up a hammock and take a break, take your family to the playground, wander up the walk on either side of the pecos, or even use one of the communal barbeques there. There are lots of trees to either climb or shade yourself with, and on cooler days you can enjoy the open spaces and playground areas or one of the splash zones
