Granusturm is a monument that was originally built as a portion of the imperial palace in Charlemagne. It has a stone attached to it, which is about 20 meters high, and the sides of the square are 8.85 meters in size. The monument has three floors and stairs in between the walls of the interior and exterior masonry. At present, the tower acts as a way of staircase, which leads to the iron window frames. These are greased with animal’s skin and covered with ‘dünngeschabten’. The basement is partly buried and obstructed with a wall.
