Tierpark Aachen - Review
This nine acre zoo mostly covers domestic animals in its 1000 specimens covering about 200 species, but there are also monkey’s camels, zebra, lynx, cheetah, antelopes, and ostriches. Unlike most zoos, you’re not banned from feeding all the animals. The whole purpose of the zoo is to help us connect with the animals; you can get animal feed at the zoo itself. It definitely thrills the kids. The zoo puts a high emphasis on its bird population.

Tierpark Aachen, Aachen Reviews
It's a nice small zoo with many local and a few exotic animals. The penguins are certainly the main attraction, but there are other incredible, cute animals. I like spending time there waking around our just sitting and watching the monkeys. It's a very good place for small children as there are playgrounds all over. You can buy some feed, which you can use to lure a few animals. The entry fee is with €6 or €3 for children quite affordable. If your coming in with public transport, the is a penguin ticket, which includes the bus and entrance fee.
This small zoo near the German city of Aachen is the home for more than 1,700 animals representing around 250 different species. A lot of playgrounds for the kids and very friendly staff. Clean park indeed! This place is very suitable to bring your family and friends and have a nice day. Liked it.
Had a great afternoon here, surprisingly close to the centre of Aachen and extremely easy to find. Free parking is also available to visitors. Great variety of animals which are obviously well looked after. Plenty of staff attending to their needs throughout the day. Particular highlight was the goat enclosure which you can go inside and meet the young goat kids! Definitely worth a visit!
The a animals seem to be well cared for and it's fun to interact with them. Recommend to pay a visit, great experience!
This is such a nice and relaxing place. Affordable price (6 euro/person), the kids have few places to play if they get bored by watching animals and the animals that are there are very nice (goats that you can feed, sheep, leopards, lamas, monkeys, mini pandas...).
