Hotel Chariot Reviews & Ratings

  • It's a little piece of heaven. The hotel has a equentsential Dutch charm to it. The staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms are very clean and quite charming. Highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay. They have a nice spread and also totall y value for money. The resultant has a nice selection of wine and the food is pretty good too. It's easy to get to Amsterdam city by train from the airport. The Hotel operates a 24 hour shuttle service back and forth and reasonably priced. The little town is also worth exploring. You might find some sweet surprises. I would definitely stay here again

  • I visit The Netherlands quite often and of the places I've stayed, this one I probably wouldn't stay at again. Don't get me wrong, the room was cute, clean, modern and standard for most Dutch hotels. Although, note that this one did not have A/C (at least not in the "standard" rooms), or any fans in the room but that may have been for the time of year (May, so its cooler). I was on the 3rd floor so I had dual skylights that opened so temp was not an issue for me. Cons: My room was right next to the stairway and the walls are thin so I heard every step all night. Actually, I was startled awake at around 1am by incredibly loud (woke me in a panic from a dead sleep) banging from across the hall from me. The doors have no "peep holes" so I could not see what was going on which frightened me quite a bit, but it eventually stopped after a few minutes. There was a shuttle to the airport but you had to schedule it (by calling or at the front desk) and you only get one ride for free (to or from), the other will cost you 22euro. There is not quick convenient public transit to this location either, expect to ride a bus for about 45 minutes from Schipol and possibly make a transfer. The restaurant was nice, quite large, and the food was very good. The front desk service was also great, however it is not manned 24hrs, be aware in case you need to arrange for a very early morning shuttle service like I did, do it the night before.

  • Nice hotel. Nice food and bar. It's a bit out of the way though and you do have to rely on the hotel shuttle, which you pay for at the end of your stay, and but its nice here.

  • Amazing, very comfy and the staff is so helpful! I recommend!

  • Very nice tall rooms! Clean and not to old rooms. Supportive staff, helpful and just 10 minutes from the airport.
