Located on the north side of the city, this park is an ideal place for individuals who are looking for a place to exercise or for solitude. It is a walled garden filled with flower beds, different beautiful trees, open green space and a place for kids to play. • A great play park for little ones as it has 2 baby swings and a big train for toddlers to run up and down with supervision! A good circuit for little bikes in the middle. You can walk by the river or do a walk around the park. Look out for the hidden walled garden!

  • The place is really nice for a walk. It's very big and there's loads to see, including lots of trees and a beautiful river. Make sure to keep track of where you are because it's easy to get lost and don't go at night because it is absolutely terrifying.

  • Lovely place for a walk, or day out with the kids. Table tennis table is a great addition. Remember to take a bat and ball!! Would love to see the return of the annual football festival that used to run there every summer.

  • Very nice park near the university of Aberdeen with free parking. There is a play park for the children. We had a nice walk in the gardens which are clean and well maintained. We followed the Cathedral walk to St Machar Cathedral, which we visited. Then we walked along the River Don to the walled garden. If you walk through the University of Aberdeen, you can easily get to Brig o' Balgownie (Bridge of Don).

  • Beautiful green space with a short walk along the Don or up through a wooded area with a walled garden. Situated beside St.Machar Cathedral. Fabulous gardens with an abundance if flowers. Also has a large children's play park recently renovated.
