  • . Update: . »»-----♥------› Legacy Play Village is getting a face-lift! They're repairing and improving the park for the next generation of children, hopefully without straying too far from the original design that we all know and love. Thank you, Volunteers and the City of Lubbock for listening and responding! They hope to reopen in spring or summer of 2019... I can't wait! I was a teenager when this place was finished in 2002 and loved to come here. Now that I'm an adult, my kids love it here. A word to the wise, if you don't know where you're going in the castle, it's easy to get turned around.

  • Coolest park ever. Plenty of shade. Once they fix up the gaps in the surrounding fence, I would feel more secure letting my kids out of my sight. They do have a sign stating they have plans to fix the place up as it is due. Regardless, this place is awesome.

  • could use lots of fixing up... but i loved the park as a kid, and love it just as much now! great place for children to play and teens to hang out

  • While we this park is a wonderful place for kids to play it was closed the last time we visited. After some research it appears the park closed for rennovations and will not re do en until the Spring or Summer of 2019.

  • I'm giving it two starts simply for the condition of the playground equipment. Complete sections of wood panels are missing. On any given day you will see children on top of the two story castle. The city doesn't seem to care either
