  • The drive out to the monastery is breathtaking. Awe inspiring. And absolutely worth the journey. The most beautiful drive I've experienced to date. Take a moment to step inside the church and reflect on the journey and you will feel nothing but gratitude.

  • The most remote Christian monastery in the western atmosphere. A beautiful drive along the Rio Chama after driving past the amazing Ghost Ranch area. A beautiful mass.

  • We only stopped for a wee bit...as rain and cold were urging a return on that road before it got worse to traverse. The chapel is more stunning than pictures can show...the community was in chapel chanting...so beautiful...so much needed ... A return is in the works...to stay longer...see the grounds... So grateful ...

  • The dirt road is a bit rough but the scenery is AMAZING!! And the monastery is such an amazing piece of architecture. So glad we took the time to check out this peaceful beautiful spiritual place.

  • It's about a 50 minute drive on a dirt road(your Prius will make it), but well worth it.
