About half a mile one way, the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service Trail, also known as the Poshuouinge Ruins Trail is steep, scenic, provides interpretive signs and overlooks the Chama River Valley. The trail is well marked and offers picturesque views of the entire area form the top. The trail leads to Poshuouinge Pueblo Ruins and has shaded areas and benches on the way making your hike hassle free. At Poshuouinge, you will witness a few interesting Pueblo ruins as well. The trail top is ideal to watch the beautiful sunset.
