Al Ain Oasis - Review

One of the oasis which has been a haven for the travellers of the Arabian Desert since ancient times, the Al Ain Oasis is an amazing amalgamation of history, travel, trade and culture. You will be amazed to find a cooling and calming forest like area in the middle of the desert.

The oasis really lives up to its name in every way. It still has palm plantations and is still used for irrigation. The irrigation system called falaj still operates in this place and is useful in providing water to nearby places. this place is quite close to al ain museum so you can combine it with your visit there. This site is a really interesting visit so do plan to go there if you want to see something you’ve never seen before and will rarely see again.

Just like its name, the place is a haven for visitors, thanks to its amiable surrounding and top notch services. Although, the place is open and free for visitors, means no Al Ain Oasis Tickets or Al Ain Oasis Ticket Prices as in general, some traders do tend to charge over Al Ain Oasis Costs for Private zone. The entry is restricted after sunsets, hence come here during day and enjoy its beauty and quietude.

Al Ain Oasis, Abu Dhabi Reviews

Google+
  • It's plainly a farm, a traditional UAE farm. You can find lots palm trees, orange trees, lemon and many other varieties. There is no entrance fee. You can take a walk around the whole farm( there is so much to walk) . They provide cycles for a rate based on how long you want to use it. Would suggest this place to anybody who wants to take a long walk. Also the best time to visit is winter when it's not too hot that you take a few steps and you get tired already. There is a small refreshment shop inside.

  • As the name says this is and Oasis with full of date palms. Usually you will not find many such green areas within UAE. Just next you can find the museum.

  • Has a oot of dates. The best part is the visit is free and the place is absolutely gorgeous with history of date cultivation attached to it. The dome in the back side is also very nice and educational. It is a must visit for kids i would like to say. There are 100 varieties of dates and the nature spring irrigation system used in the past for cultivation of crops in UAE 🇦🇪

  • It’s a great place in al ain
