  • Superb, lot of learning and excitement for kids. Spread over massive geographical area hence will require good 3-4 hrs to cover in full. Better to take refreshments along especially if you're going to be on foot. VIP carts are available with additional charges. 1 hour to sunset and they won't let enter since animals start moving into shelters. Also its pointless because you won't get to see anything in low light. Highly recommended to take your kids here

  • A perfect place to visit with family. Kids will love it. Summer can be a little too hot. Carry a hat, scarf and sunglasses. Wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking around to be done as the place is huge. Plan your lunch time in advance as you have to walk back a great distance and might get late or end up skipping lunch altogether. Keep snacks if coming with kids. Drinking water is available at intervals throughout the zoo. Don't miss the bird's show it is absolutely amazing. You are not allowed to feed the animals so please don't carry food for them. You can pay extra to feed the giraffes, but it isn't necessary as I have seen many chicken out last minute. If visiting on a holiday parking may take time so plan accordingly. Even getting the car after the visit may take a lot of time. Valet parking is expensive but practical on busy days. Overall it is a great place.

  • Awesome place. Highlight feeding giraffes and seeing the meerkats and penguins. And baby hippo and rhino. Next visit will be in winter when it's cooler The buggy and tram great in ovation so us older generation don't have to walk. Awesome friendly staff Great place to take visitors and for a family getaway

  • One of the most amazing ZOOs I’ve ever visited. Very beautifully designed and planned, great collection of animals with information card for each animal. Great for family or individual visits. I recommend planning your visit to have enough time to visit all sections. You’ll need on average 2:30-3 hours to finish it and 1 more hour to have lunch or dinner (total 4 hours) Plan to visit it between 2 pm to 4 pm.

  • The Zoo had undergone tremendous renovations lately. They do have a Safari now. Still on top of Al Ain tourists attractions. Liked how many locals are employed there. Just ease on the safari ticket price. Otherwise keep it up.
