  • Imagine if they converted Aladdin’s castle into a white marble mosque and you’d get closer to understanding how magical and beautiful this marvellous creation is! Words struggle to describe the chandeliers which sparkle like the brightest star. The handwoven carpets are simply the master craft of the world’s best tradesmen - undeniably incredible

  • This is the largest mosque in the country of UAE situated in Abu Dhabi. It is capable of accommodating 40 000 people. There are loads to see at this mosque with restaurants and souvenir stores outside. Inside the mosque is very beautiful and unique with rich interior. Women are provided with clothing upon entrance. No cigarettes and lighters are allowed into the mosque( there is a security check point prior to entering). You are required to take off your shoes before entering at certain points within the mosque. As majority of tourists stay in Dubai, they are required to drive a couple hours to Abu Dhabi to see the mosque. Definitely worth the drive and it is a popular tourist attraction for a reason. Just be respective at all times as you are in a place of worship. Once you are done visiting the mosque, before you head back for the long drive to Dubai. There is a near by shopping center you can stop by for some refreshments as well as Ferrari World.

  • This holy place is evidently one of the most amazing mosques all around the world. It was built of white marble, the breath-taking chandeliers are of gold and Swarovski crystals. The artistic and huge praying carpet in the center of the mosque is hand-woven. Women are not allowed to enter without hiding their hair and covering their body until the wrists and ankles. Men clothings also fall under restrictions and regulations, but men are treated less severely. There are no exceptions from these regulations! Nobody may enter the mosque in shoes or sandals, only is socks or bare feet. Here all visitors can see and hear from the guides what must be known about the Islamic traditions. Absolutely a must if anybody visits the United Arab Emirates.

  • It’s not every day you find out where the world’s largest carpet is located. It’s here, in one of the largest mosques in the world that can accommodate more than 40,000 people. Unique lighting on the outside walls projects clouds and gets lighter and darker in relation to the phases of the moons. Why? Because the Islamic calendar is the lunar calendar.
