The Egyptian Geological Museum was established in the year 1904 and was the first of its kind in the entire Middle East as well as the African continent. At the Museum, you would be able to find a lot of rocks, meteorites and fossils that were unearthed a long time back. Here, at the Museum you would be able to find the Fayoum vertebrates that are a series of fossil unearthed in the year 1898 by Hugh Beadnell.
