Lovely old-fashioned hotel, the Exeter is a must visit on the Adelaide bar scene. A popular with students, backpackers and young travellers, the Exter draws an eclectic group of people. Apart from the Front and Lounge Bars, The Beer Garden has entertainment every night featuring live bands, Djs and open-mic nights. The Curry Nights on the Balcony are especially popular and are held on Wednesday and Thursday. A relaxed and casual place with old-world look and feel, popular with younger crowds.

Exeter, Adelaide Reviews
I love the beer garden! (even though you can't smoke). A quiet spot to read with a jug & a pint glass in the afternoon. Warm & cozy. Busy in the evenings, at meal times & on weekends. Tunes are usually pretty good. Posters, flyers, street mags for a hit of culture. Very cool.
Great spot for a quiet ale, looking out at the street festival. didn't eat here but the food looked good. Friendly staff.
A great pub with a great atmosphere. And their prices weren’t too bad either.
One of Adelaide's best kept secrets is the Exeter's extensive and well priced wine list - highly recommend this place for a late night vino.
A regular watering hole. Still one of the best pubs in Adelaide for a cold pint, and good local music
