Kasbah is a historic site in Agadir. It is one of the rare surviving monuments in the earthquake of 1960. The fort was built in 1541 and was later renovated in the 1740s. The entrance has inscriptions written in Arabic and Dutch which say, ‘Believe in God and respect the king’. Kasbah is one of the most popular attractions in Agadir.
