Overview of Aggteleki Cseppkobarlang

Aggtelek National Park is known for two major attractions. The first is its stalactite cave, and the second is the Aggteleki Cseppkobarlang peak. The cave boasts of being the largest stalactite cave in Europe, and is 26 kilometers long. The peak is a popular photography spot as it gives the most rugged surreal background amongst the lush green pastures. The park was founded in 1985, and is home to a wide range of fauna. You may spot a Fire Salamander, a Hucul Pony, a Common Buzzard, an Eastern Imperial Eagle, an Eurasian Lynx and many more animals and birds.
