Galgibaga Beach is considered to be the cleanest beach in Goa. With silvery sands, clear water and rows after rows of coconut and pine trees, this beach is the perfect place for the turtles that choose to nest here. Also known as the Turtle Beach it is one of three other Goa beaches (alongside with Agonda and Morjim Beaches) where the state program of olive turtles saving and protection works and implemented perfectly. The whole northern part of this beautiful beach is used for turtles nesting. In the southern part of the Galgibaga Beach you shall find some shacks with a little bit modest menu of different dishes and drinks. Galgibaga Beach resort is really amazing place for solitude and quiet, leisurely hanging out and comfortable rest having: swimming, sunbathing, golden soft sand and warm tender Arabian Sea waters.

Galgibaga Beach Reviews & Ratings

  • I love this place. Where else can you see river and sea merging the best way possible. Just be careful when going for swimming, the beach is steep and deep which is not the case with other beaches.

  • One of the most beautiful beaches. Turtle nesting site. The sad part is the highway coming up right next to the beach. Disastrous governance.

  • Galgibaga beach is great for couples. Its not a party place. It is a deserted beach with limited crowd. It is kind of a romantic place. If you are a party freak its not a place for you. If you want a romantic time with your partner you can spend a night here. There are couple of shacks here.this has a beautiful river connecting to the arabian ocean. The best part is the connection where it has formed itself as a lake. It does not have much water and even kids can enjoy themselves here without any harm. I am not very sure about the place in rainy season and during high tides.. Locals and coast guards will help you on that. The coast guards are really helpful. One can definitely visit this place.

  • Peaceful.. calm place... Amazing view

  • Least crowded and beautiful beach which makes it perfect for Olive Ridley Turtles nesting. Sunsets here are superb. Left side has a river meeting sea and good spot for fishing. Can find crabs and oysters in ample there. Very peaceful place. Must visit it but please do not litter🙏
