The Wilderness beach, located in Aguadilla in the same vicinity as Base Ramsey is among the best beaches in the area for surfing. It also holds the distinction of having one of the the longest waves on the Island. Surfers who are relatively new to the sport are advised not to test the waters owing the height of the waves. • Needs lots of beach sand repairs, too many sunk holes. Expect to clean car,, jeep, etc to the fullest. Nice to go nude with others doing the same. Some locals like to peek once in awhile. Quite place to enjoy surfing and listening to waves. Bring water, food, nothing there, weekend sometimes a local sells drinks out of his pickup. No bathroom, must use dunes..(bunches)..

  • Beautiful spot. Surf was small the day we visited, maybe shoulder high, but very clean. That day this spot was good for longboarding and shortboarding, but I know this spot can get serious with larger conditions. Paddle out was limited to one sandy spot south of the parking lot, or you can walk over the rocks and paddle straight out into the surf. Access road is dirt, and very bumpy.

  • Beautiful beach for surfing, relaxing, enjoy nature and to take photos.

  • One of the best surfing spots in PR. Mountain bikers and runners or walkers also can enjoy the atmosphere down there. And we have the ruins, a popular place for visitors and photographers.

  • Famous surf spot during swell in the winter. Amazing place to enjoy the ocean year round. No restaurant. No bar. Take you own food and drink. Bumpy road. Amazing sunset.
