The temple is nestled amidst the lush green surroundings on a hill near Akshardham area. It derives its name from the Amarnath temple located in the northern India, precisely in Jammu & Kashmir, whom it is said to have replicated perfectly. Those who cannot travel to the north often come here to get a glimpse of its idol ‘Ice Shivling’ which is carved out of ice. Even those who have seen the real still visit this Amarnath dham to see and marvel at its beauty. The place was built more than 20 years ago and beautifully represents the amalgamation of technology and faith. Since the Idol of the temple is made of ice, hi-tech instruments are used to keep it frozen for pilgrims. Apart from that, the place also has the exact replica of 12 other idols just like its northern counterpart. It is often said that seeking to bless and paying in this temple provides rewards most of the time.

Amarnath Temple, Ahmedabad Reviews - Write a Review

  • Replica of Amarnath.. Shivling of snow is there. Temple located at beautiful location. Lot of fun for kids.

  • Such a divine and peaceful place... Best for family picnic

  • If you have come earlier for water park than it is okay to visit this place to kill time. Otherwise don't go specially. Still u wanna go than here is d review. It is just 500 Mtrs from main gate so only hire taxi if u r unable to walk otherwise it is a 10 minutes walk way. Then approx 200 steps to climb. Then a temple. They have created a GUFA and 12 Shiv Jyotirlings. An exhibition and a food court. Overall it is not at all worth visiting. Don't ever go in sunny days. Have a look at pictures.
