Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is a historically significant mosque situated in Ajmer and is said to have been built in just two-and-a-half days and hence the name. This mosque is one of the earliest and best Indo-Islamic architectural examples and was designed by Abu Bakr. The architecture of the building right from the gate, dome interior, window, minarets, brackets and everything else is truly worth admiring and would leave you stunned by its beauty. The construction of the mosque was commissioned by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak on the orders of Muhammad Ghori. The place has a lot of tales and legends associated with it and all of them are very interesting.
