BMW Rosslyn Plant SA is the place where all the BMWs in the African continent are produced. This factory, which started operation in the year 1975, is the first BMW manufacturing unit to be established in a foreign location out of Germany. It manufactures 75,000 cars every year, and around 75 percent of them are exported.

This plant is open to the public, but has to be booked before. The tour explores the various processes which are required to produce a car, from individual part production to the assembly of the car. Visit this plant for an educative experience.
