  • We go every year and have a great time! Yes, there’s a long wait - but that’s any seasonal attraction. They do the best they can considering the thousands of people they see every October. I’m always amazed at how they keep it fresh every year. Keep up the good work!

  • Once you make it into the attraction, it's decent. It's pretty much the same every year. The reason it's getting 3 stars is the wait time and the waiting area. We were told when we purchased tickets there was about an hour wait to go into the haunt... we purchased tickets at 7:30 PM but didn't make it in until 10:30 PM... If the ticket clerk had been honest, we would have purchased "fast pass" tickets. Once you go into the waiting area, it's HOT... REAL HOT... there were literally hundreds of people packed in like cattle. Had there been a fire, it would have been very bad. Another thing negative is there is NOTHING to do while waiting to go into the haunt. They used to have a band (The Corn Stalkers)... not anymore. Now you just stand packed in like sardines (hundreds of them) and deal with being pushed and shoved and the god awful body odor of all those people... NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER BE BACK... no matter how good the haunt is, it's just not worth it.

  • Great actors with top notch sets!! Loved the whole attraction!! They entertain you while you wait, you don’t even know your waiting!! Thank all for a great night out!

  • This place isn’t a haunted house. It’s like a Disney Ride except you’re walking through it. I was very disappointed. Very disorganized and lack of communication on where to go, what to do, which colors were called previously, and no tour guide once in. We kept getting turned around on which direction we were suppose to go. Then we caught up to the group in front of us and so did the one behind us so we ended up all clustered together. It was a wood walk trail and was so dark that you couldn’t hardly see anything. Normally darkness would be scary and they could have used that to their advantage but they didn’t. We hardly saw anybody on the wood trail. It was mainly just machines trying to “scare” you. The actors would stare at you before trying to scare you but by then the element of surprise was already ruined. They are strobe light crazy. So beware of this. We got so disoriented from them that we almost couldn’t make it out of some of the rooms. Strobe lights are fun with certain things but it was just annoying and a headache. Waste of money for a scare. When purchasing tickets it says no refunds and I see why they have to put that because a lot of people would be wanting their money back after realizing It wasn’t worth the time. Drove two hours for nothing! However, for a place that somebody just wants something to walk through and look at, then this place is fine for that. But not for scares. They had plenty of props and themes to look at but nothing scary. The actors that stand outside to scare you while you wait was the only scary thing about this place.

  • Arx Mortis is amazing! I live in Huntsville and it’s worth the drive. The owner is amazing too which is a plus!! A lot of hard work and dedication that goes into this. Will definitely be going back for this spooky season!
