Set against the beautiful River Severn and the magnificent rolling hills beyond, Morville Hall is an ideal example of a pastoral Shropshire. The Grade 1 listed Elizabethan country house is set in 2.9 acres of landscaped gardens and was constructed in 1546. National Trust - Morville Hall on this day is the home of the Irving family and remains open for public eight days a year. The gardens are a major attraction here and encompass the Dower House Gardens as well as features like the Elizabethan knot garden and the Cloister garden. National Trust - Morville Hall can also be rented for a month or you could just visit on the open days and admire the stunning architecture.
