Being a desert city, the climate of Albuquerque is arid throughout the year.

• Summer: June to August is summer time here, with highs in the low 90s and frequent afternoon showers. This keeps the tourists away, which means greatWinters are not very extreme, bu hotel deals.
• Autumn: September to November is the best time to visit Albuquerque, when the days are pleasantly warm. Perfect for that walk on Paseo del Bosque. It is also ideal to visit during this time, as there is no crowd and hotel prices are reasonable.
• Winter: If you are skier this is the perfect time for you to visit. Winters are not very extreme, in fact surprisingly mild with average highs hovering between the high 40s to mid-50s.
• Spring: March to May, Albuquerque experiences spring. The average high temperature is around 21 degrees Celsius while the lowest is around 15 degrees Celsius. However, it tends to get a little chilly with seasonal winds gushing in occasionally.

Tourists don’t come around summer and spring, because hotel prices are too expensive and there are also too many people visiting the city.
