  • AMAZING place to see and place to experience for a visit to Albuquerque!! Going up the tram, as well as down, was pretty scary for me but it was so worth it. You can buy a two way ticket or a one way ticket if you want to hike up or down the mountain. Military gets a discount which was very nice. There’s trails you can hike around the top before you head down the tram again, the views are amazing. I would love to see what it’s like on a clear day, but apparently you can see 9% of New Mexico on a clear one! The temperature is a bit cooler up there of course, so if you’re sensitive to that I recommend a light jacket. So incredibly beautiful.

  • It’s a little expensive but what an engineering marvel. And “positive Terrence” was our flight guide. He is super funny and cool. On the other side of the mountain is the ski area. Would love to experience that some day.. the tram holds 45 people inside it so it can get congested. Make sure that you grab a good spot. While coming back down from the peak the best spot would be facing the town. Gives you a bit of roller coaster feel

  • A great stop. A delightful ride to the top. At incredible heights. Hearing how this thing was built is pretty insane. The guide in the tram was entertaining. The gift shop has some really cool items. Just know coming down is a longer wait. Keep that in mind when planning this adventure.

  • 10000% BEST SPOT TO VISIT IN ALBUQUERQUE. I didn't really know what to expect from this tram, but WHOA it's amazing. The views on the way up are unbelievable, the view from the top is just like you finished a day-long hike (but no hiking!!) and the guide gave a great, funny and informational tour on the way up and answered questions and chatted with us on the way down. This is completely worth it. It would be cool if the trails were open (they weren't at this time because of fire danger) and if the restaurant on top was open, but when those things are available this will be an incredible destination spot.

  • I rode the tram twice in the same week. I am not a fan of heights, but I did enjoy this. The first person we had was Liam and he was very animated and very knowledgeable of the area. He told us in advance about the swing and sway at each tower before it occurred so we wouldn't be surprised. He kept my mind off of how high we were going. The second person we had was Sam. He was just as knowledgeable, but not as animated. Both were wonderful to have on board! Once at the top you could look around at your leisure. The restaurant at the top is currently being rebuilt and is expected to be done by October. Unfortunately due to the drought conditions this year the forest was closed, so we couldn't hike any of the trails. Still a wonderful experience! I would recommend going during the week if you don't like being crowded in a small space. Our first trip up we had about 15 people, but the second one was closer to 30-35 people. We all fit but you couldn't really see much. Also the cost is $25 person with discounts for military, disabled, seniors, and children. I thought it was a little pricey especially with the forest being closed.
