Thai Tip, Albuquerque Reviews
Great Thai food. The space is not quite as romantic as Orchid Thai but it is usually less busy and still a great date spot. Be careful of the chili, it is hot so if you’re not sure what you like order one level below what you think; you can always add more.
The place is awesome! Very clean, great service, food is perfect and the Jasmine Tea is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend!
This is very high quality Thai food in a convenient area to us. I go exclusively for takeout. They have a number of unique takes on fried rice that are delicious, their noodles are less saucy than other places — a good thing — and they do an excellent spicy green curry. Though I can’t vouch for dining in, it is a tiny place and everyone I’ve dealt with has been pleasant. They take a bit longer for takeout than most places, and the prices are high-average for large portions, so plan accordingly. Aside from their bewildering inability to prepare a cup of soup for takeout (bowl is fine?) I haven’t had any surprises from Thai Tip and they are our ‘go-to-and-bring-back’ in the NE heights.
This is without a doubt the best Thai food restaurant in Albuquerque. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious but for newbies you should definitely stick to a 3 or lower on the spice. Personally recommend combining the super rice and the yellow curry.
First time coming here, had high hopes for it and got food to go but the food my mom got. The meat seemed like it was close to expiring, the rice smelled a little bad and the quantity of the dish was very minimal for the price paid. Rating two starts because the cashier/server was very attentive.
