Ragged Falls is one of the most stunning sights right outside the Algonquin Park. Ragged Falls is easily accessible, and you will find it when you are entering the Algonquin Park. Situated on the Oxtongue River, this gushing waterfall has an “S” shape and falls from a height of around 80 meters. The best way to capture the Ragged Falls is from the bottom. There is also a small parking area near the waterfall.
Ragged Falls Reviews & Ratings
I was there in winter and it was wonderful. I can't wait to see it in summer.
I went there in May 2018 (right after winter) the water was high.it was a fun hike and peaceful place to rest.
in the winter you have to park at the gate and walk in about a kilometer or so. In the summer it is only a few hundred meter walk in but you have to pay. Only during low water or the winter can you cross over to this nice little island in the middle of the falls. Be careful a lot of water flows through here!
One of my favorite spots to stop at and take photos. Such a gorgeous view here and only a bit over 300 meter hike to get to the falls well worth the hike.
Awesome little spot for a picnic or walk. Lots of trails for bicycle riding too.
