Anzac Hill - Review
For one of the best views of Alice Springs, walk up Anzac Hill for a spectacular 360 degrees panorama. You could also drive up there if you don’t feel like stretching your legs. On top of the hill lies a war memorial erected to honor all those who laid their lives down during World War One. Plaques behind the memorial name all the men and women who lost their lives in battles and conflicts. To get the best experience out of the visit, watch either the sunrise or the sunset from Anzac Hill.

Anzac Hill, Alice Springs Reviews
Good sunset view and view of Alice springs. I watched the Alice Day Show fireworks from here too--you could just make out the tops of them from the Hill. The memorial was pretty and featured both the Australian flag and the local flag. I would recommend Annie's Hill in the Botanical Gardens over the Anzac Hill though if you're looking for a view of the MacDonnel Ranges.
Eh, it was ok. Good little walk up a hill leads to some interesting Anzac informative plaques (Thank you for your service) and some excellent views over Alice Springs but, honestly, 10 or 15 minutes is all you need. I’d still go and have a look... Recommended
Easy walk from central Alice Springs using access path from Wills Terace. Good views of township. Panels explain Australian involvement in military actions from Boer War to current day, but are weathering and becoming hard to read. Possibly better at dawn or dusk rather than midday like our trip.
A free attraction that is close to town, highlighting our magnificent history of the ANZAC legend and out participation in conflicts throughout the lastt 200 odd years. Great views as well.
Great place to walk or ride up the hill. Nice view over the town and for sunsets.
