During 90s the temple was not that big and also termed as peeth. Now it is little crowded specially during festive season. Little finger of lord devi prvati has fellen here. There are two gate one from a small road on back and other is front at main road.
One of the 51 shaktipeeths of India. Has 3 vigrah in garbgagriha. On a narrow road. There are navgrah on circular platform outside main temple building. Bhairav temple and Hanuman temple are on the adjacent lane.
One of the famous Shakti peeths in India. Not very crowded. One can have a smooth darshan.
