The Meadows Golf Course Reviews & Ratings
GVSU is my Alma mater so I may be partial but I absolutely love The Meadows. Long heather everywhere creates demanding tee shots that are rewarded with good looks to the green. Greens always run true and the course is always well maintained.
I have a love hate relationship. The hate is the pace of play. I’ve played three times this year and all three times were over five hours. This past weekend it took three hours to play 9 so we took a rain check at the turn. I had same issues last year. I’m alumni so I get discount which is the only reason I go back. However, after this weekend none of my fellow golf partners want to go back. They are done with this course. The course conditions are typically great. Very well maintained course. If you have a handicap below 13 you need to play further back from the whites. It’s a short course. Playing from the whites makes it easy to shoot in 70s. I’m not a good golfer but I’ve shot under par from the whites. Playing from the tips turns this course into a great challenge.
Wow, what a fun course to play. This course can make you feel great for a few holes and then flip quickly. For playing in the course looked good, yet it was so wet! Fairways like to hold a lot water.
One of the better courses in West Michigan . Great balance of skill and beauty.
Course was in great shape. Wish I could say the same for my game!
