The Marari Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in India. It is located in a quiet village known as Maraikulam. Its closeness to the capital city Kochi makes it a very popular tourist attraction. Many beach resorts and home stays serve as beautiful places to spend a day or two here. The main resort here is the Marari Beach Resort. The others include, Turtle Beach Resort, Carnoustie Beach Resort and the new Erandia Marari which is a fantastic ayurvedic resort. The Marari Vilas and the Beach Symphony are somewhat boutiques and the ideal places from where you can shop till you drop.

The white beaches, greenish water and the green coconut trees are like a picture drawn by a painter. The fishermen in their everyday motion are such a happy sight.

  • One of the most cleanest and lovely beaches i've been to. Probably the best beach in Kerala . And quite safe too. I have solo travelled to this place and felt pretty safe. There's not a huge crowd , like that of most popular beaches but with decent Number of people, especially families.

  • This is one of the finest beaches in Kerala. It is less crowded and very clean. The beach is very well maintained , there are few small shops for food , snacks at the entrance of the beach. The rear side of the beach is filled with trees and it looks very beautiful.

  • Few kilometres drive.. It welcomes you with coconut trees ;) maintenance is really good. Very clean. Most importantly it's less crowded. You can enjoy a very good 'me time' here..

  • One of the best and cleanest beach in Kerala. There are many resorts along this beach but a serious deficiency of beach side restaurants providing seafood. Maybe due to lack of eateries, the beach is clean and devoid of plastic waste. A good attraction for foreigners. Indians are slowly catching up on visiting here. The road to this beach is also maintained well and good for cycling. Water sports are not available here. The local fishermen park their boats here and can be seen embarking to the sea for a livelihood.
