Pathiramanal Beach, Alleppey Reviews
An island in the middle of the famed backwaters of kumarakom. Migratory birds do visit this place due to its closeness with the bird sanctuary. The place is a must if you like to be in the green. A request: please don't litter. After enjoying your trip. Bring all your waste back with you.
It's a small island. A complete eco friendly destination for a peaceful visit.
Im giving it a 4 star just because i live near to it. Its actually a bit overrated as all you can see is a big forest in the midst of the sea. There are no birds (a few if u r lucky enough) to be seen now as it was before long back. Flocks of tourists bringing in plastics are help up on the island which has badly affected its ecosystem and the flora and fauna is completely getting vanished over there. Well you can have a small getaway from the busy life, having a calm and quiet atmosphere. There wont be anything available in the island and toilets are there but in a mess. Please ensure that you don't retain any plastic or waste that you bought with you at the island and keep it clean.
"Amazon droplet" or you can call it as a slice of Sunderban. If you are expecting to see migratory birds as they are in a bird sancturium, please don't come. Please learn to respect nature and its habitats. This small island has a vide range of flora and fauna... whether you get to see them is up to you... If you take a round trip of the island in the early morning or just before the sunset you can see lot of birds with the help of binoculars or a high resolution camera. That too if you don't make much noise..
Serene atmosphere. Clean air. Lots of green. But nothing much to see around.
