Mohan's Binsar Retreat, Almora Reviews

  • Excellent experience. The property is managed by the owner himself who takes great care of its guests and the staff is very helpful. Do not get fooled by the humble entrance, The view from the rooms is beautiful with both sunrise and sunset views from all rooms. The only drawback is that its spread vertically so you might have to go down many stairs if your room is towards the end of the property. Food was fantastic and with many options. Will visit again. The curtains in the rooms have small gaps compromising privacy else everything is just marvellous.

  • We were here for 3 days and it has been the most amazing stays of my life. So close to nature. It was a peaceful experience. The staff is so courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant is also great. You can actually hear the bird chirping.. and butterflies around.. They have kept it as close to nature as possible.. it's so green and so fresh .. you get natural detoxification from the city life.

  • A really good stay option in the beautiful hill holiday destination of Kasardevi. Not too popular yet though. Best part you won't find a mad holiday crowd here even during the peak holiday season. Mohan's is a very relaxing, warm and friendly place. They have go great food. A really nice restaurant with a spectacular 180 degree snow-clad mountain view and nice music. To top it all they have got a shop that sells organic soaps and food ingredients.
