Adventure-life Church Reviews & Ratings
Not a bad church. The pastor is very kind. The office manager is nothing but nice. However I will say this. I was bullied growing up here. It's not right. It really affected me when I was a teen and young adult. The message the pastor gives is always great though. It's just too bad some people had to be that way.
On my last visit through this area I thought I'd stop in at the church and was amazed at how much it had changed by way of people's attitudes to one and another. People who are gay are berated as are people with any type of mental illness, as far as this church goes saying they love everyone equally what a load of RUBBISH. They wouldn't know love for one and another if it jumped up and slapped them in the face!!
This is a contemporary Christian music church with a bit of a rock concert vibe. I have trouble clapping my hands and singing at the same time, but the music is very uplifting and meaningful. At the same time, the sermon messages go deep in clarifying Scripture bringing understanding to even the most difficult of Bible passages. Good, solid theology. How can you tell a Christian by looking at him? He looks miserable, sad and depressed. This is not a hard sell "Do you know Jesus?" type of church, but it is probably the only church I have ever attended that when I leave after services I feel better about myself than when I went in. No one and nothing about this church makes me feel like I am on the downhill side road to Hell. There is one worship service each Sunday with 150-175 in attendance. It isn't easy getting to know people in this size of group but Adventure Life does offer small group studies where it is easier to make connections. Another upside: no one sends around a clipboard asking you sign up for committees or makes you feel guilty for not dropping a wad of cash in the offering plate. Pretty much this church is everything I want a church to be and nothing of what I don't.
Family loving church ! Spirit filled brothers and sisters. New member classes available 😊
I go once a month for the simple supper.
