What a Beautiful place to stay! The ocean is right outside your door(s). Beautiful views, the Amazing sound of the waves approaching all day and night! We stayed in 1 of 2 available Yurts to rent/stay in and my wife and I Loved our time here! Their showers and bathrooms are Very Ckean and So Nice to have! The yurt(s) have a futon that folds out to be a double size bed, and bunk beds with a double size on bottom and single on top. Sleeps 5 people comfortably and has HEAT and Power to use for whatever you need! Plenty of space and Very Importantly, these ARE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!!! A MUST WITH A ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR! This is a Great Place to Unwind and Be Alone! Definitely will be headed back here to stay again. Thank you, Washington State Parks for Great Accommodations! Only small negative was the short staff of Park rangers and we never did see anyone that was stationed there this time. However, there were Absolutely NO ISSUES and we had a Phenomenal Time!
Fabulous getaway from the South Sound. Only 2.5 hrs from the Tacoma/Puyallup area. Sweeping ocean views, watch the tide ebb and flow and the storms roll by. Wildlife... Sea birds, otters, deer, sand dollars. Bring your muck boots, sweater, and ear muffs. The Washington coast is chilly and windy. Sleepy town without much to do. Great place to unwind.
Best vacation I have ever taken. I felt so at peace here. Absolutely stunning views without the overcrowding. We went in March while it was still a bit cool and enjoyed lots of beachside bonfires. If you truly want to escape, visit the Washington Coast.
It was beautiful. The tide was so far away leaving lots of sand for the dogs to frolic. I had my kite and it took to the sky on the try. The fog came from the ocean and we left.
Beautiful beach. Lots to explore at low tide. Pretty windy, bring a folding chair if you want to recline without getting a mouthful of sand.
