Wildcat Bluff Nature Center Reviews & Ratings
We came to see the Quanah Parker arrow and found this gem. The nature center is beautiful, well cared for, and well thought out. Victoria was attending the center that day and she was cheerful and friendly. There is even a guard cat (Sebastian) in the HQ that will welcome you (best to leave the dog outside of the HQ). If I were local, I would donate time to help the center with projects and fund raising. There are paved paths that are handicap accessible as well as nature trails out to the bluff. Plenty to see here and worth the stop and worthy of support.
The Wildcat Bluff Nature Center has a nice variety of trails to choose from, and is a good place to spend a morning or afternoon. The staff I encountered was friendly and helpful, and the trails were well marked. I will make it a point to stop by whenever I am in town.
I've come here so many time as an alternative to PD Canyon to get my "back to nature" fix. Every time is always a new experience. The Windmill Trail is my favorite excursion. I love goin past the windmill to explore beyond. There on the rock bluff, on one of the rocks, I discovered a carved petroglyph that left me in awe.
Great place! Love the trails
Super fun venue! We held our Net Impact Amarillo event there with great success.
